As a practice we accept Medicaid, True Blue, Blue Cross, and Select Health. Individual counselors may or may not be in network with the listed or unlisted insurance networks.
The best way to see if a session will be covered is to call your insurance company. Ask if Valley Community Counseling and your individual clinician is in network.
Many insurance companies cover in-person and telehealth sessions at varying rates.
A co-pay is what you owe upfront for a covered session.
Co-insurance can be confusing. For example, if your plan states “30% After Deductible,” this means that they will not cover the services until your deductible is met. If you have met the deductible you will be responsible for 30% of the cost.

You will be responsible for your deductible and co-pays or co-insurance rates stipulated by your insurance company. Please be aware that deductibles start over once a year, usually on January 1st or in July. If there is a deductible remaining on your insurance policy, you will be expected to pay the full-service fee at the time of you session until the deductible is paid in full. If your insurance changes, it is your responsibility to notify the office.
A $50 Hold fee and a credit card on file will be required when scheduling the first appoint. This fee will go toward payment of amounts not paid by insurance, including copays/coinsurance/deductibles. If insurance covers services in full, the hold fee will be refunded.
Valley Community Counseling does off a sliding fee scale upon request for those who qualify.
